Jesus Christ My King ("we," "us," or "the ministry") operates the website jesuschristmyking.com and the "Jesus Christ My King" mobile app (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we handle and how we protect it. The same account works across both the website and the app.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (passwords are stored securely and never visible to us). You may optionally add your first and last name to personalize your profile.
  • Content you save. Verses, prayers, affirmations, categories, and favorites that you save for memorization and reminders.
  • Activity you create. Your Bible reading streak, memorization practice history, and reminder preferences.
  • Messages you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to share (such as your name, email, and message).

We do not use third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing history.

How we use your information

  • To provide and secure your account and sign-in.
  • To save your verses, prayers, affirmations, streaks, and preferences, and keep them in sync between the website and the app.
  • To send the daily and favorite reminders you turn on (delivered as notifications on your device).
  • To respond to messages, prayer requests, or support questions you send us.

We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for advertising.

Where your data is stored & service providers

We use trusted service providers to run the Services. They process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — secure authentication and database hosting for your account and saved content.
  • API.Bible — provides Scripture text shown in the Services. Requests are proxied through our servers.
  • Apple / device notifications — reminders you enable are scheduled and delivered through your device's notification system.
  • Email delivery — used to send account emails (such as confirmation) and to receive messages you send us.

Your choices & deleting your account

You can review or edit your saved content and profile at any time. You can turn reminders on or off from the app's settings.

You may permanently delete your account at any time — in the mobile app under Account → Delete Account, or on the website from your Profile page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved verses, prayers, affirmations, streak, and favorites from our systems.

Data security

Connections to the Services use encryption in transit (HTTPS), and access to your data is protected by row-level security rules so you can only access your own content. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here.
